It has been a very busy few weeks in our Guidance World :-) I wanted to take a moment to share what has been going on!
We had the chance to create some wonderful Art Therapy assignments. The students loved making them and I loved seeing how creative they could be with their feelings!
Here are some examples of our Second Grade Feelings Mandolas (where the students had to think about the feelings that they felt and how often they felt that way. Then design their mandola to represent those proportions)!
Here are some examples of what our Third Graders did! They had to make a Feelings Emotion Color Wheel. They had to chose 8 different feelings that they felt and had to decorate each section of their color wheel to match that feeling in their eyes!
And, my fourth graders made Collages using Loupe Collage to represent their Dreams, Passions, and Goals!
They all did a fabulous job and we had a lot of fun!!
Take care,
Mrs. Roberti

I love the Art therapy. Very cool way for students to express themselves. <3 <3 <3
